Electrical safety testing.

I work to carry out electrical safety testing to the current IET Code of Practice for in-service inspection & testing of electrical equipment 5th Edition.

Employers, landlords, public bodies & companies all have a duty of care under The Health & Safety at Work Act to ensure their electrical equipment is safe to operate. They also have to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations (1989) Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations (1999).

So if you have a landlord, letting agent, Shop, Hairdressing Salon, Market Stall, Mobile Business (disco, hairdresser, personal trainers, tradesmen, mechanics etc), Office, Factory, Workshop, Care Home, Hotel, Guesthouse, Rented/Holiday accommodation, B&B, school, plat group or any property that your staff or the public use, are your Portable Appliances safe to use?

Alternatively are you an electrical business that can’t find the time to perform (or don’t do) PAT, FAT Testing? As I specialise in in-service electrical testing (PAT & FAT Testing), can I help you out? Get in touch & I could do the work for you.

Every business, even sole traders that use Portable Appliances ( such as a laptop, PC, printer, phone charger, stereo etc) or Fixed Appliances (such as wall heaters, hand dryers, extractor fans, cookers, dishwasher, washing machine etc), you need a system in place, (Under Health & Safety) to prove they are safe for use.

Testing to the current IET Code of Practice for in-service inspection & testing of electrical equipment 5th Edition means that not all electrical equipment needs to be tested on very visit, in fact the guide allows risk assessment based outcomes to be taken into account, possibly saving clients money by reducing the number tests & costs.

So because I am fully trained & competent, as well as a member of NAPIT, using the latest & best testing equipment, you can be assured that I will go above & beyond to make sure my clients are compliant with the requirements of legislation.

Having the appropriate training qualifications, insurances, trade memberships as well as full DBS security checks in place, allows me to work with children & vulnerable adults, giving you my client’s peace of mind that all the appropriate checks & training have been completed to the highest level.

There are many good reasons
